A dream turned into reality, WonderCat, a multifunctional art space, gallery, art school and event venue proudly announces its grand opening event.
WonderCat is a brainchild of multidisciplinary visual artist and musician Jana Komaritsa. Nestled in the heart of historic Leiden, WonderCat with its eclectic interior carefully crafted by the owner herself, aspires to be a sanctuary for creativity, expression, and connection, with a focus on community engagement and cultural enrichment.

Exhibition Opening: Jana Komaritsa “Fragments of Melancholia”
The inaugural exhibition presents a mesmerizing collection of melancholic and moody paintings done by the owner of the space Jana Komaritsa. These evocative works, inspired by the places visited by the artist, invite visitors to journey through dreamlike terrains of shadow, light, and introspection.
Creative Workshops (All Day):
Throughout the day, visitors can participate in hands-on creative workshops, exploring new techniques and materials. Suitable for all ages.
Music Concert (start 18:00)
As the day transitions into night, the space will come alive with the sounds of a dark cinematic ambient soundscapes, delivered by:
